Electromet Corporation (EMCorp), a recognized leader in machining and metal fabrication for the defense industry, is pleased to announce that we have purchased the assets of General Kinetics, Inc. (GKI), including, but not limited to, all intellectual properties of the company - designs, specifications, qualifications, tooling, process data, etc.   Under its GKI Electronics Enclosure Division,  Electromet is be the only authorized supplier of GKI products.  This assures that the supply of quality GKI products to GKI design specifications will continue and that re-qualification will not be required. It is EMCorp’s intention to build upon GKI’s distinguished reputation as an industry leader in the manufacture of top quality custom and COTS racks, cabinets and enclosures.  We will work very closely with each of GKI’s existing customers to meet their immediate, as well as long-term needs, in a timely and efficient manner.
